The Wye Pool project had a focus on nature, from using recycled materials for it’s build, to keeping out nature’s curious creatures!
The project was to build a family swimming pool (75 cubic metres), with both a shallow end and a diveable end. One of the key requirements was to have a safety cover to prevent local wildlife ending up in the water – there was an abundance of wild deer in the locality who took to fancying a drink!
We managed the project from design and build to finish. Meeting with the client, discussing requirements and providing them with a project plan, timings and quote, we were booked immediately.
The project started and finished on-time, with all materials delivered, which was important as Portugeuse granite was used for the steps and the pool surround.
As with all of our pools, we used an innovative and sustainable product to form our walls, made out of recycled car dash boards and bumpers so we’re reducing what needs to go to landfill. The client was pleased with the result, as are we.
The client was left to manage and finish the landscaping.

This pool is 67 cubic metres in total, the client was looking for a pool with a gently sloping bottom going from just above waist height to just below shoulder height.
A living pool with a very natural look. We have an adjoining pond to create the look of a natural pool but with the water clarity of a living pool. We wanted nature to be close by but not in the swimming zone.
